Nature

Beyond this door is where I sleep
Upon these walls, shadows creep
Within my bed I close my eyes
I cover my ears and silence the cries
Upon this pillow I rest my head
And calm my body within this bed
Within my head, a dream, my mind does make
A forgotten tale when I wake
Life is my dream within the waking hours
I behold nature and all its powers
Nature's sounds in which I hear
Pull me close and hold me near
Until I watch the sun set afar
Making way for brightened stars
I will never change my ways
I will cherish nature for all my days
