I sit here silently
Dwelling on what once was but now can't be reality
Filled with regret is my mind
For I let go of the best of mankind
I still live my life with smile
But I dream of being with him every once and awhile
Just one last kiss
Will forever remain my only wish
Just to have him write me one last poem
And rekindle the love, which was once known
He is the only person I truly love
He was sent down from the heavens above
