I sat alone and scared
On the darkest of all nights
Until I saw a woman
Surrounded by a light
Her face was soft and godly
Her voice drew me near
She touched my hand
I knew I had nothing to fear
Her seemed to heal me
Steal me from the night

Now I sit and wait
Outside the pearly gates
